Branches To Leaves
I cast the first stone into the river, as I watch these dreams ripple away. To separate it's reflection. To ignite the desperation with failure, the water becomes calm again. O' Unfaithful One, choking in the undertow. Why have we been suffering for attention, was it the mirrors reflection, that gave us insecurities? Could it be, this is pure beauty? Watching a collapsed heart fall to the ground, the pieces devouring the floor. Maybe life is dead. But this earth isn't cut up and plain anymore. This earth is shared. Restored to faith. We build an Empire to withstand these evil waves. Gasp life into these lungs, give a chance to live again. All the heaven that we need, is the air that we breathe. And we are faced, with nothing else that is real.
